So...as many people at the physical library have heard, we have become real Shuttle groupies. We aren't really the "sciencey" type family, but Shuttle launches have been super cool to all of us. That said, we had a sick little one, but we didn't realize we could see so much from our house. Here is a shot from our backyard. I also took a pic of the TV during the blast off from NASA tv, but that seemed too cheesy.

It looks like it was shot out of the sub division next to yours! Cool.
I totally should have posted the TV shot I took as well....as one of my staff said, "Shuttle launch for the couch potato".
I saw the lift off from the Indian River. It was cool. Mary Anne
Hey, I watched the shuttle go up too...I was in the parking lot of the Fashion Square Mall. A bunch of us were going to see the 7:45pm Pirates movie, and I said, "Hey, we've got time to catch the launch before the movie starts...who wants to go watch with me?" No takers...darn party poopers. So I went outside and watched it on my own, and still made it back before the previews were over. I am so cool! hehe It was gorgeous to watch!!
