Flickr and MP3 (back to week 8 and current)

Our department created a flickr for Collection Development. We have a couple of pics, but will add more late this week or early next week. So that about covers Flickr.

MP3...MP3....I have no earthly idea. I thought I would basically be downloading every bad song I've ever been cursed with singing over the course of my life, but maybe not. I downloaded a book all the way to the point of seeing it on my desktop, but couldn't get it to do anything further. I must need downloadable book 101. I'll have to work on that.

Some of the podcasts were really....stimulating. I miss not getting to hear authors almost every night of the week, so having the opportunity to hear podcasts really is quite enriching I must say.

I think it was Blix-Blix that first mentioned how she is more an observer than a participant on 2.0. I will be interested to see now that the course is over if I, too, will continue to be a participant of go back to being an observer. There is a benefit to listening rather than always being the center of attention. People that know me would laugh that I would say such a thing. But, I do listen.
